Alhamdulillah & by the Grace of Allah those who had declared May 20th to be Everybody Draw Muhammad (
) Day have themselves backed out. Allah protects the honor of His messenger and this is proof to that. While a few people here and there may try and get the emotions of Muslims raging something like this would have been horrible.
It is also a testament to the misunderstanding that people in the West have of the issue of drawing or making fun of the prophet of Islam. They associate it with freedom of speech while in reality it is a violation of cultural sensitivities.
