Grewia Juice (Sharbat-e-Falsa) Recipe

Ingredients:-


1 kg Grewia (Falsay)
1 Kg Sugar
Black salt pinch
3 Cups water

Method:-



Boil the falsay with 3 cups water. Strain through a medium fine sieve and extract all juice and pulp by pressing down with a spoon
Pour into a pan add sugar and cook till the sugar dissolves.
Cool and add juice of four lemons and black salt.
Pour in freezer container and cover the freeze.
For one medium glass of juice use 1 tsp of frozen falsay and cold water with ice and sitter.
Falsa pulp may also be served with ice cream.

Sharbat-e-Sandal Recipe

Ingredients:



125 grams Sandal wood powder/ dust
1-1/2 kg sugar
1-1/2 liter rose water
50 ml Fragrant water(kewra water)

Method:



Soak the sandal wood's dust into rose water for 24 hours, then keep it on the fire.
When the water remains only 1 liter after heating take it out and strain to collect the dust.
Now add sugar into this water and heat or cook it again. When it cooks to one third draw it and on cooling add fragrant water in it and fill it into bottles.
In this sugar 2 bottle sandal wood sharbat will be prepared.

A delicious, low calorie, easy-to-make drink for these hot summer days.


Ingredients:



12 lemons, thinly sliced
3 cups white sugar
4 trays ice cubes
8 cups cold water

How to make Lemonade:



Thinly slice lemons crosswise.
Try to remove as many seeds as possible.
Put lemon slices into a large punch bowl.
Pour sugar over the top of the lemons.
Using a potato masher or wooden spoon, pound lemons and sugar mixture until sugar is dissolved and lemon slices are broken.
Add ice cubes and stir in cold water.
Serve in tall glasses.
Lemonade is ready to serve.
