Palestine; Israeli army carries out five airstrikes in Gaza
On Thursday night, the Israeli Air Force carried out five airstrikes targeting a number of areas in different parts of the Gaza Strip inflicting damage a number of injuries.
Medical sources reported that the Israeli Air force bombarded a security facility west of Gaza city causing excessive damage while a number of residents suffered mild injuries.
In Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Air Force conducted three Air strikes targeting the “tunnels area” along the border with Egypt; excessive damage was reported, no injuries.
Furthermore, the Israeli Air Force fired three missiles at two tunnels near the Salah Ed Deen Gate, and a local livestock market in Gaza City; excessive damage was reported.
The Israeli army also fired several missiles at a site believed to be a training grounds for the Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement.
The Army said that the attack came after Palestinian fighters fired shells and a mortar into southern Israel.
