  • Desecration of Quran by indian army protested

    Saturday, July 20, 2013

    LAHORE

RELIGIOUS parties observed protest day against the desecration of holy Quran by Indian occupant forces in Held Kashmir and shooting dead dozens of protesters condemning the act.

Rallies and protests were held across Pakistan on the appeal of Jamaatud Dawah Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Saied, where leaders demanded Prime Minister Naas Sharif to reverse back channel diplomacy for friendship with India and instead expel Delhi’s ambassador and take up Kashmir issue in the UN afresh. Prayer leaders highlighted the Indian army atrocities on helpless Kashmiri Muslims and silence of world bodies and Muslim rulers. Protesters raised slogans against the Indian army and set ablaze Indian flag.

Addressing a large protest demonstration at Chauburji Chowk after Friday prayers, JD leaders Hafiz Abdul Rehman Makki, Maulana Abul Hashim, Abdul Ghafoor Dogar, Habibur Rehman, Mehboob Alam and others called upon Islamabad to immediately raise Kashmir issue in the UN and called a world conference to find ways and means to implement UN resolutions on Kashmir. They also demanded Prime Minister to stop trade and back channel diplomacy with India and support Kashmiris freedom struggle against Indian army, warning him that otherwise people of Pakistan would rise against him. They also demanded that proposed purchase of power from India should be revoked and no unilateral friendship with Delhi could be forged at the cost of Kashmir’s freedom.
