jazak Allah
Eh to shariath ka masla tha. Jo us zamane main log dur dur gawn se nah dhu kar tayar hukar Jumma ke liya aathe the.
Acutally this has reference to those days where people come from all the surrounding places of Madin e Munawara to perform Jumma prayers in Masjeed Naabawi , after taking bath and putting on good clothes for Jumma.
So Ibe ne Abbas RA directed them not come from a long distance and could perform their Jumma at their places itself as the rainy water, mud would spoil their clothes (which one of condition to wear good clothes for Jumma).
Now days Mosques are nearby and people have infrastucture to reach with being muddied or clothes being spoiled.
What I am trying to say is when some shari direction is given it should be good to take into account what, where and why condition of direction.
If this taken for granted every body would try to follow and take shelter for not coming to Jumma Prayer if raining or cyclone or storm is in place .
We have to be very careful while narrating or copying such shari directions and pass on to AAM Admi. who may not understand this .
