Hazrat Luqman's Advice

Hazrat Luqman alaihis salaam advised his sons, "Never lie even if the lie seems as delicious as the meat of a bird, because the evil of even a small lie destroys the liar."

My Beloved Prophet sallalaho alaihe wasallam's beloved devotees! Hazrat Luqman alaihis salaam is advising his son's to never lie. Nowadays, parents do not bother to teach their children to speak the truth and to avoid lying; rather, they themselves force and teach their children to lie. What a great example was used by Hazrat Luqman alaihis salaam in that the taste of meat is momentary. Similarly, the taste of lying is also temporary. May Allah bless us with the strength of focusing on the permanent pleasures of the world hereafter, and may He save us from lying and all other deadly sins. Aameen.
