The Pleasure of The Parents Is The Pleasure of Allah Ta'ala

Hazrat Abdullah Bin Umar radiallaho ta'ala anhuma narrates that Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam said, "Allah's pleasure is in the pleasure of the parents, and Allah's displeasure is in the displeasure of the parents."

My Beloved Prophet sallalaho alaihe wasallam's beloved devotees! Our Beloved Prophet sallalaho alaihe wasallam has shown us one of the ways to please our Lord. That is if you want Allah Ta'ala to be pleased with you, then the easy way to do this is to ensure that you keep your parents happy. To keep our parents happy, to ensure their pleasure, is not a difficult task. Many people spend a great deal of time trying to please the whole world, but are negligent when it come to pleasing their parents. Similarly, people are worried if their friends are upset, but do not care if their parents are upset or in distress. These people should learn from the aforementioned hadith of Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam that the displeasure of parents is in actual fact the displeasure of Allah Ta'ala. To please them is in actual fact to please our Lord, and whoever pleases Allah Ta'ala will obtain the happiness of both worlds. May Allah Ta'ala, through the sadqa of His beloved Prophet sallalaho alaihe wasallam, give us all the guidance to obtain the pleasure of our parents. Aameen
