Lightbulb Parents Are Paradise for Children

    Parents Are Paradise for Children

Hazrat Abu Amama radiallaho ta'ala anhu states that a person came to Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam and asked, "Yaa Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam, what rights do parents have over their children?" Rasool Allah sallalaho alaihe wasallam replied, "They are your Paradise or your hellfire." (Mishkaat Shareef)

Subhan Allah! My Beloved Prophet sallalaho alaihe wasallam's beloved devotees! By calling parents "your Paradise or your hellfire", Allah's Beloved Prophet sallalaho alaihe wasallam has alerted us that parents are great blessing for us. They are a means for your health in this world. Even before your birth, your home, food, clothing is arranged for you. Similarly, if you care for them, serve them, obey their commands and wishes, and always strive to keep them happy, then they can also be a means by which you can obtain Paradise. If you displease them or make them unhappy, then it is no loss to them. However, due to your being ungrateful, you will be deserving of hellfire. Therefore we should ensure that we please our parents, make them happy and be deserving of Paradise. May Allah Ta'ala, through the waseela of His Beloved Prophet sallalaho alaihe wasallam, give us the guidance to serve our parents. Aameen
Hadrat Anas Radi ALLAH Taala Anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah Peace And Blessings Be Upon Him has said, “Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur’an is Yasin. Allah records anyone who recites Yasin as having recited the Qur’an ten times.”
