The Prophet #Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The person who accepts the charge of administering the affairs of the Muslims and then does not serve their interests and does not tire himself out in their service to the same extent that he tires himself out to fulfill his own personal needs, shall be thrown by Allah headlong into the fire of Hell.” [Tabrani]
