    * Reward of celebrating Milad *

Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dihlvi رحمۃ اللہ علیہ has said, ‘Those rejoicing on the night of the birth of the Holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم will enter Jannat-un-Naeem by virtue of the mercy of Allah عزوجل. Muslims have always been celebrating the birth of the Beloved and Blessed Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم by cooking feasts, inviting guest and giving Sadaqah (alms) in abundance. They express their happiness, spend wholeheartedly, hold congregations for the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, decorate their houses and Allah عزوجل showers His blessings on them because of these blessed deeds.’ (Masabata bis-Sunnah, pp. 102)

Hadrat Anas Radi ALLAH Taala Anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah Peace And Blessings Be Upon Him has said, “Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur’an is Yasin. Allah records anyone who recites Yasin as having recited the Qur’an ten times.”

    |The word Milad has been derived from "viladut" which means birth. Therefore, according to Arabic language, Milad is word which
    |signifies the place and time of birth. In the light of Shariah, we means, Milad is to remember the events which took place at
    |the birth time of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) and we get the opportunity of narrating the Seerat of the
    |Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) on this occasion, we also presents the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon
    |Him) gifts of Durood -o- salam.
