    Holy Prophet (peace be upon Him) said : (interpretion of the meaning)
    "Avoid 7 dangerous things
    1 shirk with Allah
    2 Magic
    3 Killing the innocent
    4 Being involved in Riba
    5 Eat unlawfully from the property of orphans
    6 Running away from the battlefield
    7 False claims against chaste women
    (Sahih Bukhari)

    Riba - usury

    It originally means the charging of interest on loans.

    Brother, riba means usury, bank interest ,its called 'sood' in urdu. Its defined as giving some loan, with a condition to take some extra money alongwith original amount.

    Riba is such a word sometime i forget. So i have think. bcz its Arabic & we also use less instead we use SUOOD in our language.

    ya ur right in urdu we use sudooh instead of Riba........

    and people don't hesitate to take it
