The Five Pillars of Islam (arkān-al-Islām أركان الإسلام; also arkān ad-dīn أركان الدين "pillars of the religion") are five basic acts in Islam.

The Qur'an presents them as a framework for worship and a sign of commitment to the faith. They are (1) the shahada (creed), (2) daily prayers (salat), (3) fasting during Ramadan (sawm), (4) almsgiving (zakāt), and (5) the pilgrimage to Mecca (hajj) at least once in a lifetime.

How many women forces are there before 1400 Years ago?

    As-Salāmu `Alaykum (السلام عليكم)

Today people think that women are liberated in the west and that the women's liberation movement began in the 20th Century. Actually the women's liberation movement was revealed by God to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the seventh century. The Qur'an and the Traditions of the Prophet (Hadith and Sunna) guarantee every Muslim woman certain rights and duties.

Historically, God sent Messengers to fight oppression and establish justice. From the oppression Pharaoh inflicted on the children of Israel, to the camel that was tortured by the people of Thamud, God sent a sign to all of mankind that his creation should never be wronged. Each time a messenger was sent, a new form of oppression was highlighted.

God did not forget any of his creation and when Prophet Muhammad was sent with God’s final revelation to mankind, God chose to highlight the oppression inflicted upon women. At a time when women were seen as passive sex objects in most parts of the world, in Arabia, women started leading wars, becoming surgeons and teachers and acquiring property rights. In short, women were liberated by God 1400 years ago and the world’s feminist movement began with Islam.

Women were among the oppressed that God came to liberate. Eighty percent of legal material in the Quran focuses on women. From divorce laws, to the marriage gift and right to the condemnation of female infanticide, God safeguarded the rights of women and removed them from a vulnerable position.

1400 years ago, the Muslim woman was given a role, duties, and rights that most women do not enjoy today, even in the west.

Post Views About Love Marriage In Islam

There are many misconceptions about concepts of love marriage in Islam.
In Quran it says “And from his signs you can see that he has made you for the mates which are amongst you, so you can dwell in love with them, and he has bestowed mercy and love in your hearts; There are signs for those who understand” (Quran 30:21).
People tend to think whether Islam permits love marriage or forces to confine with arranged marriage. Looking into the Islamic perspective we can see that love marriage in Islam is allowed provided that the boundaries aren’t crossed so that it enters in to a Haram relation. In today’s world individuals find it more difficult to determine whether have they crossed the boundaries or not. In a Hadith it is narrated that Prophet said “It is better to get hit by a steel nail rather than touching opposite genders (more preferably women)” (Muslim and Bukhari)
