  • Observing As-Saum (the fasting) ...

"O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious)." [The Qur'an 2:183]

    jazakAllah

fasting is for Allah subhanwataala and HE will give us ajar for that
میں نےجو کیا وہ برا کیا،میں نے خود کو خود ہی تباہ کیا

جو تجھے پسند ہو میرے رب،مجھے اس ادا کی تلاش ہے

Hadrat Anas Radi ALLAH Taala Anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah Peace And Blessings Be Upon Him has said, “Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur’an is Yasin. Allah records anyone who recites Yasin as having recited the Qur’an ten times.”

Fasting in Islam is worship and is rewarded in form of Almighty ALLAH’s pleasure and sanctions in the Hereafter, as well as mystical progress.
