Hadith: Qayamat ke din suraj ek meel ke fasley par hoga ( Allahumma ajirna minan nar)
Urdu Translation:
Miqdad b. Aswad radi allaho anho se rivayat hai ki Rasoollallah sallallaho alaihey wasallam ne farmaya Qayamat ke din suraj nazdeek kiya jayega yahan tak ki ek meel par aa jayega salim bin aamir ne kaha ki kasam khuda ki main nahi janta meel se kya murad hai ye meel zameen ka hai jo kos ke barabar hota hai ya meel se murad silayee hai jis se surma lagatey hain , to log apney apney aamal ke mutabiq paseeney mein dubey hongey, koi to takhnon tak duba hoga , koi ghutnon tak , koi ezar bandhney ki jagah tak ,kisi ko paseeney ki lagaam hogi aur ishara kiya Rasoollallah sallallaho alaihey wasallan ne apney haath se munh ki taraf.

English Translation:
Miqdad b. Aswad Radi allaho anho reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace he upon him) as saying: On the Day of Resurrection, the sun would draw so close to the people that there woum be left only a distance of one mile. Sulaim b. Amir said: By Allah, I do not know whether he meant by" mile" the mile of the (material) earth or dn instrument used for applying collyrium to the eye. (The Holy Prophet is, however, reported to have said): The people would be submerged in perspiration according to their deeds, some up to their. knees, Some up to the waist and some would have the bridle of perspiration and, while saying this, Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) pointed his hand towards his mouth.
