In the Old and New Testaments of the Christian KJV Bible, there are many documented instances where the Lord God Almighty has been seen by human beings. There are many instances whereby angels have been sent by God to instruct certain people on this earth, or to inform righteous people of the impending destruction of certain cities [Lot and his family....the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah]. There are even cases where men have not experienced carnal death, but have ascended up to heaven [Enoch and Elija]. Are there such experiences documented in the Koran? I only have a condensed version of the Koran, that was kindly sent to me, free of charge, by a Muslim organization in the U.S.A.
