Laylatul Qadr dates in the UK

In the UK: 21st night has already gone.

23rd Night is on TONIGHT - Monday 22nd August from Maghrib until Fajr.

25th Night is on Wednesday 24th of August from Maghrib until Fajr.

27th Night is on Friday 26th of August from Maghrib until Fajr.

29th night is on Sunday 28th of August from Maghrib until Fajr.

Remember:We can gain forgiveness for an entire lifetime of sins on this special night:

Abu Huraira (RA) narrated that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever stands (in prayer) in Laylatul Qadr while nourishing his faith with self-evaluation, expecting reward from Allah, will have all of his previous sins forgiven.” (Bukhari and Muslim).

So valuable is this Night of Power that the Quran devotes a special surah to it “Lailatul Qadr is better than a thousand months” [97:3]

This one night surpasses the value of 30,000 nights which means we can gain rewards of over 83 YEARS OF WORSHIP! Subhanallah! Most of us will not even live upto such an age!

So we should make a commitment to worship on all of the odd numbered nights with full sincerety and hope for mercy and forgiveness from Allah aswell as reward.

We should also make a firm commitment to Allah that we will change ourselves for the better forever. Time is short and this may be our last Ramadan! Let us grab this opportunity!

If we walk towards Allah then he will run towards us!

May Allah enable us to make the best of the last 10 days & nights of Ramadan and may he enable us to gain the maximum rewards from this auspicious night. Ameen

Subhanallah the last ten days of Ramadan are here and we should take this opportunity to do as much worship of Allah as possible for this may be our last Ramadan!

The worship of Laylatul Qadr is 1000 months reward! We CANNOT afford to miss these HUGE rewards!

Therefore let us search for Laylatul Qadr in the last ten nights which start tonight (UK) and let us at least do what we can in the last ten nights for the one who catches this special night is very fortunate indeed!

Please remember me in your dua's in these next few nights.

What is Laylatul Qadr or Night of Power therefore?

You are all aware of its importance so I will just briefly re-run through it. In surah Al-Qadr Allah (SWT) clearly states:

"Surely We revealed it (the Holy Quran) on the grand night. And what will make you comprehend what the grand night. The grand night is better than a thousand months. The angels and Gabriel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair, Peace! It is till the break of the morning." Holy Quran (97:1-5)

Allah (SWT) is inviting all the believers for a Divine feast; the invitation which has been brought by the messengers. Allah (SWT) is the host, his most favorite angels are the servants and the believers are the guests. The table is spread with Divine blessings containing all sorts of rewards and favors. Though the eyes cannot see them nor the ears hear them not the human hearts imagine them, yet the bounties are all kept in readiness to be awarded to the guests in accordance to her actions.

Laylatul Qadr is a blessed night because the Almighty brings down during it goodness, bliss, and forgiveness for His servants. It is a feast which has come with a message that shows one the way to achieve happiness in both the worlds. Laylatul Qadr is a feast for the spirit, a feast of worship and prayers.

It is so near and it may be our last, so let us prepare now and make the best of EVERY second of that blessed night inshallah!

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: (Dur-Mansoor).

    Better than a thousand months

A thousand months are equivalent to 83 years and 4 months. Fortunate is the person who spends this night in prayer. The man or woman, who prays for the whole night during this Night, will deserve blessings and reward for the period as if he or she had been praying for eighty three years and four months consecutively. Since the Night of Power is better than one thousand months no one can actually measure the extent as to how much better it is.

THERES STILL ONE NIGHT LEFT TOMORROW NIGHT (29TH RAMADAN) THIS COULD STILL BE LAYLATUL QADR SO LETS WORSHIP THIS NIGHT WITH FULL DEVOTION AND WE MAY GET A LIFETIME OF SINS FORGIVEN ASWELL AS 83 YEARS AND 4 MONTHS REWARD!!!

May Allah help us to purify our hearts, strengthen our faith, and enable us to meet every challenge, and overcome every difficulty in our lives. May Allah allow us to serve Him with sincerity in our work, study, professional, business, family and social lives. When the time comes for us finally to return to Him, may Allah admit us to the companionship of those whom He loves.
