  • Zikrullah

    Alaikum,

    On every Thursdays, after Salaat Esha in the mosque, we used to perform Zikr. The Imaam always lead and we the people we follow the tasbeeh that he reads. I see this practice very good. However, i cannot grasp the entire words (in Arabic) he used to say in between the different pause of the tasbeeh (that is when changing to another tasbeeh).

    This practice has really enlightened my life and i would like to do it at home together with my wife and children. I have in mind to lead this Zikr. I need your help in the following;

    1. Can anybody tells me what is the arabic word/phrase that the Imaan use ? I assume that the arabic word is standard to all who perform Zikrullah. Some of the words that i can recalls are {mukarabah....haq....}

    2. What tasbeeh should be read and how many times ?

    3. How should i end the tasbeeh at home ?

    Thank you so much for your help.

    Waalaikum assalam wa rehmatullah

    you can ask ur imam as to what he read as zikrullah.
    Hadrat Anas Radi ALLAH Taala Anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah Peace And Blessings Be Upon Him has said, “Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur’an is Yasin. Allah records anyone who recites Yasin as having recited the Qur’an ten times.”
