How would we be able to taste (the sweetness) the forms of worship we are offering to ALLAH Azza Wajal? How would it be a comfort to our souls and heart? How can we reach a level that whenever we have a calamity, whenever we have a problem, we find a comfort in these forms of worship? Didn’t the Prophet (PBUH) say that Allah (SWT) had made my satisfaction in prayer? Didn’t Bilaal (RA) say that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to say "comfort us Bilaal (RA) with prayer Bilaal”, meaning call for the prayer. And didn’t Aisha (RA) that the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) whenever he had a calamity, whenever he has something which was bothering him, he would go and rush to pray?
So people complain, "How can we attain this submissiveness, how can we get to this level of contemplation and of having the heart of standing in front of Allah (SWT)?”
