Important Aspects of Islamic Marriage
In Quran Allah says
“And one of His signs is that He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest in them, and He put between you love and compassion; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.” (Surah al-Rum · Ayah 21)
Important Aspect of Marriage In Islam
· Mutual agreement between Bride and groom
· Mahr (given by groom to bride)
· Sermon (khutba-tun-nikah)
· Walima (marriage banquet)
In Hadith Muhammad (PBUH) said
"By Allah! Among all of you I am the most God-fearing, and among you all, I am the super most to save myself from the wrath of Allah, yet my state is that I observe prayer and sleep too. I observe fast and suspend observing them; I marry woman also. And he who turns away from my Sunnah has no relation with me.” (Bukhari)
